How to remove blogger post date from google index
Blogger displays a date header at the top of each blog post by default.
The date header shows the month, day, year and, depending on your
settings, the time at which you published the post. It's a useful way
for your readers to contextualize your content in time, but if your
posts are "evergreen" you can opt to remove the date headers. The change
will apply to all of your past and future Blogger posts.
1. Log in to
Blogger to view your dashboard and access your blog layout screen. You
can access the layout page by clicking the arrow to the right of the
blog title and selecting "Layout" from the drop-down menu that appears
below.
2.
Click the "Edit" link in the lower right corner of the "Blog Posts"
widget in the layout screen. This displays a "Configure Blog Posts"
screen in a pop-up window.
3.
Click to deselect the box adjacent to the first item under the "Post
Page Options" section of the "Configure Blog Posts" pop-up window.
4.
Scroll to the bottom of the pop-up window and click the orange "Save"
button to finalize the change and remove the date header from all posts
in your blog.
You can also remove the date footer from all blog posts in the
"Configure Blog Posts" screen by clicking to deselect the date footer
check box two items down from the date header check box.
